4.5" x 10" KDF-85/Catalytic Carbon filter cartridge specifically formulated for removal of Iron, Manganese, Hydrogen Sulfide, Chloramine, Chlorine, heavy metals, taste, and odors. In addition, KDF-85 has significant antimicrobial products. Manufactured using a blend of KDF-85 and ultra-adsorbent Coconut Shell Catalytic Carbon, the filter has excellent flow properties and will absorb 90% of dissolved iron (@ 5 ppm Ferrous Iron in water) and hydrogen sulfide to 4 ppm. Catalytic carbon is superior to activated carbon for the removal of organic water contaminants, chloramines, hydrogen sulfide, and heavy metals. • KDF-85 Catalytic Carbon/Granulated Activated Carbon (contains 2.5 lbs KDF-85) • Iron removal 90% @ 5 ppm Ferrous Iron • Hydrogen Sulfide removal to 4 ppm • Effective for removal of Manganese, Hydrogen Sulfide, Chloramine, Chlorine, VOCs, and Heavy Metals • Antimicrobial properties • Filter cartridge- Constructed of food grade polypropylene with top and bottom screw on caps (blue caps/white barrel). Inlet/outlet polypropylene sponge, for capture of inlet/outlet fines particulates. Very durable and well constructed.
