Depending on your water quality. replace this filter sooner if you notice the water flow is slowing down or the FILTER color becomes darker. (See pics in listing.) These filters will last much longer than the 5 micron filter which may only last a few weeks depending on water quality. They can also put a strain on water pumps as filter becomes restricted.
