Pentek ChlorPlus 10" Chloramine Reduction Carbon Block Product #: H2O-225416-43 The ChlorPlus carbon block cartridges help reduce sediment while providing greater chloramine performance capacities than granular carbon. They also significantly reduce the carbon fines found in many granular canisters. Chloramine can exhaust your DI resin really quickly, so if your local water has chloramine you need to either prefilter using a chloramine carbon block and ideally a 2nd standard carbon block or GAC, or an ammonia reducing DI resin.
